Rotala Macrandra Pink is a highly sought-after species that is characterized by its beautiful hues. Just like Rotala Macrandra Red, Rotala Macrandra Pink makes a wonderful choice as a background aquarium plant or for any aquascape that needs a little color variation. Being part of the Macrandra family, Rotala Macrandra Pink is no exception and is a fairly difficult aquarium plant to keep happy, making it suitable for aquarists with a good amount of experience under their belt. Like most Rotala species, Rotala Macrandra Pink prefers soft water and with quality aquarium LED lighting, CO2 injection and nutrient-dense aquarium soil. This Rotala species has the potential to grow quite large as well so it should be grown in medium to larger sized planted aquarium tanks, avoiding nano planted tanks.

Individual stems should be given sufficient space when planting as planting too compact will result in the lower portions of the aquarium plant void of light. Rotala Macrandra Pink is very demanding and can be difficult to keep, but results are well worth the extra effort and are rewarding if successful.

Tissue culture aquatic plants are grown in-vitro by laboratories who specialize in propagating aquatic plants. There is a huge selection of plant species that have been propagated this way. This is truly the best option for those who want absolutely zero unwanted pests, algae and pesticides. This makes them perfect for shrimp keepers and any planted tank enthusiasts alike.

NOTE: It is important to remove the tissue culture agar gel before planting. Simply wash the gel away, divide, and plant.
