The Arcteryx Nuclei SV Parka is a super warm insulated Parka for day in day out, stop start activities in cold conditions. Made from Arato 15, a 15 denier windproof ripstop nylon fabric outer with Coreloft insulation. The insulation is a single sheet which eliminates the need for baffles and additional stitching, keeping the weight down and the windproofing up. The Nuclei SV Parka is the ideal belay jacket for Scottish winter climbing and mountaineering or any other activity where there maybe some standing around in cold damp conditions.
The Nuclei SV features a helmet compatible StormHood which is adjustable so will cinch right down in windy conditions. There are two external zipped hand packets which are great hand warmers and sit above your harness, plus a zipped chest pocket. Inside there are two internal pockets for essentials. The hem is adjustable so you can totally seal out cold draughts when sat on a belay.
